Tom Peeters has followed the Belgian gambling market since 2017 and verifies every claim where dice games always comes first. Base: Antwerpen.
How we test. we open an account ourselves, carry out a real deposit, request payout and record the turnaround. The licence check happens at the source, not at the operator and compare the promise with the conditions. What we did not establish ourselves is not mentioned.
We are paid through affiliate links; the assessment is not altered by it. An operator without a Belgian licence is described as such, commission or not.
Player protection in numbers
Belgium regulates player protection more tightly than the Netherlands or France with concrete consequences for your account. The standard limit runs to €200 per week per site. Reducing it needs no waiting time, raising it needs a check and a waiting period.
EPIS is the Gaming Commission's central exclusion system: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Registering costs nothing. The bar has stood at 21 since 1 September 2024, lottery aside; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. Without valid ID you do not get through.
